Self-Employment Assistance (formerly NEIS) is a program funded by the Australian Federal Government aimed at assisting people to explore the opportunities of self-employment as an alternative to gaining full time work. It allows people to choose the support that best fits their needs to run a successful small business and will replace the New Business Assistance with NEIS program.
The program offers flexible services (eligibility rules apply) including:
- Small Business Training
- Help to develop a Business Plan
- Small Business Coaching
- Business Health Checks, and
- Business Advice Sessions
