The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) is a self-employment program funded by the Australian Federal Government aimed at assisting unemployed people to explore the opportunities of self-employment as an alternative choice to gaining full time work.
The ‘Exploring Being My Own Boss’ Workshops are designed to give you a taste of entrepreneurship, self-employment and support those that have a business idea or dream of being their own boss.

ABS have online courses available in Business, Management, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service and Accounting and Finance. This is an ideal flexible learning arrangement for those who don’t have time for classroom based learning. These online courses are available at a Certificate II, III, IV and Diploma level.
