Hoda Wahdan is a fashion designer and owner of Miss Erika an award winning business that designs for the people. Hoda excels in producing fashion forward pieces in the league of women’s wear. She delivers stunning and exquisite clothing and swimwear in an array of European and Egyptian fabrics serving a clientele of 18 to 50 year old fashionable women.
“I saw a niche in the fashion game that I knew i could excel in with the right support around me. It worked out well as I had a tremendous amount of passion for creating clothing and had the right work ethos” Said Hoda.
Hoda believes the NEIS program is the BEST thing that ever happened to her and her label. Hand on her heart she states she would not be the successful, organised, tactful person she is today if it weren’t for the support from ABS. “From the beginning the mentor was involved in every aspect of my business. He offered me amazing and innovating marketing and promotional strategies, he always gave me genuine constructive criticism that pushed me to be constantly creative and tactful especially in the highly competitive world of fashion. His vast experience in business and life taught me to be wary and how to avoid business pitfalls that would be detrimental to Miss Erika ” Said Hoda.
The training was of great benefit to Hoda, “The business plan is fantastic and I actually encouraged a few of my friend to apply for NEIS telling them this will change their lives forever! My teacher was very patient and seemed to have a lot of work experience. The material was relevant and helped give me perception and clarity” she said.
