Emilie started her journey on NEIS with the hope to have flexibility and independence within her field of work. She aimed to establish herself as a local writer and become and online presence within the first year.
“NEIS helped give me a frame of reference when it came to operating my business. Frank (mentor) was personable and helped me to debrief on the previous months in order to reflect and decide what to do better” said Emilie.
Emilie had a breakthrough when HelloGiggles published one of her articles which generated great traffic to her portfolio and rocketed her exposure.
When asked if she could give any advice to people considering starting a business with NEIS through ABS she said “Definitely worth the effort, what may seem tedious will contribute to a career you never thought you could achieve.”
