ABS offers a broad range of training services and mentoring support that are tailored to help employees develop their skills in the workplace and improve career prospects. For employers we offer opportunities to receive incentives for employing new staff as trainees under government sponsored traineeships.
The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) is a self-employment program funded by the Australian Federal Government aimed at assisting unemployed people to explore the opportunities of self-employment as an alternative choice to gaining full time work.
We are able to offer Government Funded Training programs each year for various qualifications. In previous years we have delivered Workplace Readiness program, Access program and Productivity Places Program (PPP) for the Department of Training and Workplace Development (DTWD) and the Department of Industry. We are currently working with the Dept of Education and Training to help businesses grow using the Industry Skills Fund Initiative. ABS have online courses available in Business, Management, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service and Accounting and Finance. This is an ideal flexible learning arrangement for those who don’t have time for classroom based learning. These online courses are available at a Certificate II, III, IV and Diploma level.
