The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) is a self-employment program funded by the Australian Federal Government aimed at assisting unemployed people to explore the opportunities of self-employment as an alternative to gaining full time work.

Exploring Being My Own Boss workshops

The ‘Exploring Being My Own Boss’ Workshops are designed to give you a taste of entrepreneurship, self-employment and support those that have a business idea or dream of being their own boss.

Business Local – government funded programs

ABS Institute of Management is a proud provider of Business Local Programs on behalf of the Small Business Development Corporation funded by the Government of Western Australia.

Through this service their intent is to build resilient and enterprising small businesses which contribute to the economic growth of the WA economy.

These programs are delivered in the metropolitan region and focus on the development of enterprise skills in small business operators. These skills include financial literacy, digital literacy, contracting and tendering, strategy and project management and business systems amongst a range of other short courses.

Traineeships

ABS Institute work closely with our clients to design training programs that develop the capabilities of employees to increase productivity and achieve business objectives.

For employers this provides opportunities to take advantage of incentives that are available for employing new staff as trainees under government sponsored traineeships.

Nationally recognised qualifications

ABS Institute offer a broad range of training programs that are tailored to help employees develop their skills in the workplace and improve career prospects.

We have courses available in Business, Management, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service and Accounting and Finance. These courses are available at a Certificate II, III, IV and Diploma level.
